Buffet breakfast in Maldron Hotel Glasgow City

Service was friendly and efficient. The room was comfortably furnished, and had ample tea and coffee sachets. Shower was nice and strong, in a well laid out bathroom. The location of the hotel was extremely convenient, 5 mins walk from the bus terminal where the airport bus terminates, and just steps from theatres. It is clearly a popular and well-patronsed hotel, and particularly given the volume of guests that come through, they keep things very orderly and clean. Nearby restaurants we ate at and enjoyed immensely were Maki & Ramen, and Vert.

The location was very central and within easy walking of the many pubs, cafes and restaurants within Glasgow City Centre. My brother and I were on a football weekend and visiting Scottish friends and they travelled in to Queens Street Station which was a short walk away from the Hotel. We were running at a local Parkrun on Saturday morning so asked for a quiet top floor room and this request was provided. The staff were friendly and although we did not request breakfast the meals provided within the restaurant in the Evening were excellent.

Property was close to the bus station where we picked up our tour each day in Glasgow. Room was very comfortable and quiet, very clean with comfortable beds and the bathroom was quite large with a very big shelf to put items on. We appreciated the tea and biscuits everyday and the UBS port to charge our phones. Staff was very nice and food down in the bar area was very good. Area of Glasgow was Ok, some restaurants close by, movie theater across the street.

Our stay was brilliant, the hotel was lovely and so was our room, lovely layout and bed was super comfortable. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The hotel is also in a great location, stone through away from cinema and only a few minute walk down to town. Lots of food places and pubs surrounding the hotel which was very convenient for us. Overall we loved our stay and will definitely be using again.

Sasha

The location is very good for arriving at Buchanan bus station....only about 7 to 10 minutes walk. All the reception staff we dealt with were brilliant. Same goes for breakfast waiting staff. The buffet breakfasts themselves had a great range of food for all diets and preferences.....indeed the best of our stay in Scotland and well worth the additional price paid.
