Booked for my client a disabled woman who wanted to visit for a few days. Very few hotels in Glasgow offer 2 double beds in a room so this hotel ticked the box. Check-in was easy done online then an email was received when the room was ready and easy to collect and drop the keys at the kiosk at the entrance. I spoke with reception staff breifly and they were happy to explain how to get our keys at the kiosk. The hotel was tastefully decorated and spacious and bar staff friendly. The dining and breakfast area was comfortable. One staff member stood out called Alastair, he was a worker always on the floor and on the go. He welcomed us and explained how breakfast ran, he ordered porridge for us and was constantly clearing tables and greeting customers, unfortunately didn't receive the same experience the following morning, very few staff on the floor & had to go back out into the lobby to find someone to order porridge, you would of thought I'd asked the girl to personally make the porridge, no customer service skills or friendliness. When the porridge was brought out she tried to give it to the wrong people and I had to call out before she returned it to the kitchen, she sauntered around with her mobile phone hanging out her back pocket. She did not appear to be happy in her workplace. I was looking forward to ordering a fried egg after I had gave the porridge to my client however again there was no one around to order and the plates we had finished were gathering on the table as not many staff clearing away. Also on this morning there were no bowls left at 9.30am for cereal and no tea spoons, appeared no one was checking anything apart from the hot breakfast items needing topped up. Small little details being missed and could be inproved on.

The hotel was located very close to the train station, around a 10 minute walk. It was very central around shopping centres and restaurants. When we arrived we checked in through the self check in screens and these were amazing, so fast and easy to use. We then went up to the room and for the small price we paid are expectations were not high but it was beautiful and so clean. The beds were beyond comfy and the curtains were dark and heavy which meant we managed to have a lie in! We checked out online which again was so easy and did not have to rush. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

Property was close to the bus station where we picked up our tour each day in Glasgow. Room was very comfortable and quiet, very clean with comfortable beds and the bathroom was quite large with a very big shelf to put items on. We appreciated the tea and biscuits everyday and the UBS port to charge our phones. Staff was very nice and food down in the bar area was very good. Area of Glasgow was Ok, some restaurants close by, movie theater across the street.

The bed was comfortable, good walk-in- shower, plus 2 Free bottles of water in the room and 2 packets of biscuits on the hospitality tray . We were allocated a room straight away, even though we arrived well before the normal check in time of 3pm. There was 3 lifts , so no waiting for long periods of time. Breakfast was good, with 2 toasters and 2 coffee machines available, so no queues. Hotel is very modern and centrally located for shops and theatres.

Central location with great views of the city & beyond. Good sound proofing so not disturbed by city life. Comfortable bed, in a well provisioned (plugs, lighting & hot drinks options and clean room) staff friendly & responsive. Best breakfast bar experienced in a long time aiming to accomodate varied dietry needs. Resturant seating laid out to enable easy egress for people using wheel chairs.
